I’m Nic Morgan
Born in the Cotswolds and raised in the south of Wales, I now live in Atlanta, Georgia. I’ve always been drawn to small, intricate things. With a background in illustration and sculpture, I turned to metalsmithing in 2016 and began creating under the name Hireth in 2020, during the height of the pandemic.
From my studio in Avondale Estates, I work in sterling silver and semi precious gemstones, creating hand-forged pieces that feel both beautiful and eerie—like relics carrying secrets. My work is shaped by a love of miniature detail, strange histories, and the uncanny. I believe beauty lives in imperfections, in the unexpected, and in the things that make you look twice.
I also teach, and love helping others bring their ideas to life. Problem solving is one of my favorite parts of making art—it’s like puzzle-solving with fire and metal.
Outside of my studio, I love being outdoors but hate being too hot or too cold (and am always one or the other). There’s a slim chance I drink too much, both wine and coffee. I enjoy my own company. I am stubborn to a fault, and have never been on time for anything in my life. I love my dogs, am lactose intolerant, and green is my favourite color (I also flipflop between the British and American spelling of things, and can never remember if the month or the day comes first).

You should Know...
If you buy a piece of jewelry from me, you are buying something designed and handmade by me. I am the one receiving your order, packaging your purchase, and shuffling my grateful little bum down to the post office to ship your new jewelry. I am also my own web designer, social media manager, accountant, and doer of all the other jobs necessary to keep my business running. I love being my own boss. All that said, I am learning as I go and I am doing my best, so please be patient with me, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions, issues or concerns. In the hopes of pre-empting some of those questions, here's some useful info to keep in mind when shopping my site:
All ring sizes and chain lengths are listed in the description of each piece, so please make sure that you know what size you need before you buy as I cannot do returns or refunds for a piece that is the wrong size. If you aren't sure what size you need, you can visit most jewelers shops and ask them to size you. (The paper charts that you find online are frequently unreliable and will usually give you an incorrect size reading).
I ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, meaning that barring any extenuating circumstances your jewelry will be on its way to you 2-5 days from purchase date. If for any reason I am unable to ship your piece within this window I will contact you. If you need your piece in a hurry please send me an email and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Certain pieces are made to order, it'll say in the description if this is the case, because of that the piece you receive may vary slightly to the image on the site as everything is handmade and therefore every piece is individual. This also means that I will need time to make your piece, so please allow an extra few days production time for me to make and ship your jewelry. I will send tracking information as soon as it is available.
If you are in the Atlanta area, follow my instagram @hireth.jewelry where I post about pop-up markets, and I can size you there, and you can actually try on some things.
